History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Therai grew up listening to his father's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Sora alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
