History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bharash grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in the south to a Crown-heir, Ashgarn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ashgarn was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. River is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: River was born the youngest of three triplets. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Adran hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Adran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
