History: She was born in the east. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by a spirit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

History: Matilda hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own.
