History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Melissa took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up glaive and armor she uses now. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
