History: Burana was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is purple and curly. His fierce black eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born in the east to a Painter, Iados learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her hair is short and brown. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Waywocket embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Waywocket was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and retire the richest woman in the west

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She has done her best to style her brown hair to look like a famous performer. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Audhild was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Audhild's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Skirt alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Hunter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with pastel slacks. His purple hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are red and beady.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
