History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Five's homeland. Five decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Baker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Kody hails from a village terrorized by giants. Kody was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Baker. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student he started as a Mortician, but he got bored and became a Barber. He has achieved small success as a Barber.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Description: A 4'10" southern woman, she wears blue painted combat armor at almost all times. Her blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: This man is dressed in a clean white cloak covering his clean studded leather, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Karg was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
