History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Skirt never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Cask was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with his Barkeep mother left him crippled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Zogdûsh was born the youngest of three triplets. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story.
