His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: She was born in the east. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
