History: He was born in the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nuraval grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nuraval. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
