She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
