History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Adventurer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is a Layabout first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Through the years after Patrin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Patrin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

History: Reirak was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Server again.

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is long and red with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: Gilkass speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Gilkass lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Gilkass alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family.

History: Raam was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He got into the Healer business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Healer.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Healer responsibilities is difficult; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
