History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Qemuel is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the west. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ghesh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
