History: Mary was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. At a young age her father died while driving off some orcs. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in kukri use. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears a grey shirt with thin blue vertical stripes and brown pants. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her eyes are amber and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a white vest and prefers grey and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his feathered white hat.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born into a rich family. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and money/treasure

Description: She prefers to wear flannel, and she perpetually has her flail ready. Her hair is black and curly. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She hates Gnomes with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She plays an instrument quite well.
History: Breena was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Breena fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Half-Elven compassion.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: She was born in the east. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He stands about 5'3" and usually wears his tan robe and has his quarterstaff always slung over his shoulder. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and doesn't want to be a beggar and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He became a Shipwright soon after.
Motivation: To be a Guard again; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.
History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. A freak accident while working with her Tanner mother left her crippled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
