History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alston grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alston. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Adrie and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
