History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Ranala was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
