Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Interpreter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Birel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
