When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Nagrette took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sword and armor she uses now. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Thiala decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Marshal work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers.
