History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Broce was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Broce grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Broce. He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gilbert will drive conversation. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

Personality: Emerald is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to raise his children well

History: Gifted from a young age, Arumawann studied abroad. Arumawann abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
