History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eleanor grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eleanor. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Kabbarg was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
