History: Emerald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ortegar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Ortegar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
