History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Gilthur was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gilthur's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Carpenter father left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Shanairla alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Egelina grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
