History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Theren was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He bought a sai and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Animal Trainer for the past few years.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Pâsh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
