After coming to the age of reason, Sorath took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
