History: Oren was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Oren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Bookbinder profession.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She worked as a nervous Dyer and found it very stressful. She struck the Dyer job and began her own company from there.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born into a rich family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gormogord embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and many brigands want him driven away

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Knight, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a grey collared shirt and blue skirt. She accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. She has chestnut hair. Her half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many goblins want her driven away

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Engraver who has hired him part-time. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Cimer was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the north were limited. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and an old rival family wants her found
