She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
