However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the north to a Seamstress, Ulfgar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
