History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jaxi was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She is renowned for her bright blue dresses and hats. Her white hair is long and unkept. Her eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Chaedi took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up warhammer and armor she uses now. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Serpent was born with his father's beautiful face. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now mingles about in high society.
