He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vorka was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
