Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His rusty crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He is baby faced.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he's looking for his big break

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His fur, while still mostly yellow, has prominent grey streaks. He has yellow eyes.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and a deep hatred of gnolls

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Abad will drive conversation. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This woman wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her crest is brass, silky, and of moderate length. Her red eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Mishann was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Junk Dealer. After a long history of fighting, Mishann and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: She was born in the south. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has achieved small success as a Tanner.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and to be a gardener again

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Dean is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
