History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She became a Jeweler soon after.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Margery was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Margery's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Veloptima's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her childhood dream was to be a Bather, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Barber for hire.
