History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Barbena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Barbena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Kali was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bowyer for hire.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Margery will drive conversation. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Bhevek and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: She is mildly Elf supremacist, though she does not identify as such. Quillathe enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: She got into the Bather business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In her youth she was a Scribe, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she wants revenge against brigands
