History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Maynild grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. A gifted student she started as a Knight, but she got bored and became a Miller. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Personality: Korinn is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Korinn was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Korinn's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Korinn and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Melech enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are green.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Altho will drive conversation. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Altho fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born in the east to a Gardener, Vadania learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his youth he was a Guard, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he would like to get married and retire
