He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
