History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hugolina was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

History: Born in the north to a Courier, Gadreel learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Being a Courier kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and a rival would like him out of the picture
