Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears a fancy violet dress. She has done her best to style her blonde hair to look like a famous performer. Her blue eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed violet hat.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. A true patriot, Hatae would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a white coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon her head. She sports brown long hair. She has a tattooed face.
Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ronwe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
