His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tiaathque was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born in the west. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
