History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Fragrant was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Fortune-teller. Recently the stress of being a Fortune-teller has made it difficult for her to sleep.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He worked as a nervous Sailor and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and balancing his hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult

History: Burto hails from a village terrorized by drow. Through the years after Burto was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Burto's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Burto was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
