History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Mardred was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Mardred's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born in a small forest village. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Rosamund was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: To be a Weaver again; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He was born in the north. He worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Kellen was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kellen decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Jeweler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
