History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Personality: River hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student she started as a Shipwright, but she got bored and became a Sculptor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: He comes from a rich northern family. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sellsword. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: Susannah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mercenary. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She tends to her Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
