History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
