History: Quick was born with his father's beautiful face. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Ildrex and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her childhood dream was to be a Miner, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Vani's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born in the north to a Sailor, Nim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Jeweler, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sailor and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
