History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Randal was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Being a Dilettante kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: Born to a Ruler, her father struggled to pay the bills. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. A true patriot, Heward would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Heward never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When Valida reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.
