Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He keeps his long gold crest kept up in a rat tail. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Fax is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fax. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a blue vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her red leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her blue boots flare out at the collars. She has moderate length blonde hair. Her ears are large.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is dressed in a clean white cloak covering his clean studded leather. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a Barrister first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He's also a talented Barber, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barrister responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

History: Gifted from a young age, Morana studied abroad. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lamlis embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: The child of a Barber, who enjoyed hunting, Lamlis was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Lamlis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Dondon reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
