He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: Revenge; and many brigands want her driven away

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
