Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. This copper eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During her travels, Shivering and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shivering discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shivering fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.
History: Gifted from a young age, Megren studied abroad. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Megren began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Megren was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears a green vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her green boots flare out at the collars. Her red hair is thinning but still full. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She invites people to come help in her community garden.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Azza fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His first spouse was a Mayor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Greeba was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carpenter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Apothecary but believes her peers are too gung-ho.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While she appears to be a normal Half-Orc, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
