History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
