History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Shax took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor she uses now. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He's also a talented Mayor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Art was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
