History: Emerald was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. History: Born to a Bricklayer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has worked as a Carter like her mother before her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
