History: He was born into a rich family. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Sun has worked very hard to control his curse. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. Her white hair is smooth and relatively long. This amber eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Painter business.

History: Born in the south to a Painter, Jarana learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Jarana never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Description: An older man who is wearing a long, red, dusty cloak, he is not a threatening figure. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gildmak embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Kava was born the youngest of three triplets. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Expand her business; and regain custody of her daughter

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He became a Miller soon after.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and sabotage a competitor

She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
