She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
